On-line Banking
Many of our larger local banks are now offering secure on-line banking services. This can be very convenient since you can access your accounts 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week from your own computer. To log on to your account is usually as simple as entering your ATM account number (or social security number) and PIN number. Most of these banks don’t charge for balance checking or account transfers but do charge for other services such as automatic monthly bill payment. To check out the particular on-line banking services that your bank may offer please visit the links listed below.

Tip for the Month: Web E-Mail
Our Web site offers a way for you to read or send e-mail without using your regular e-mail program. This can be helpful when you're traveling, or if for some reason your regular e-mail program is not working, and you still have access to the Internet from your remote location. Simply point your browser to
www.parrett.net. After the page loads click on the link titled "Web E-Mail." Doing this will bring up a new page where you can then enter your login (user) name and password. Click on the "Login" button and this will retrieve your e-mail. You may then view, delete, reply, forward or compose a new e-mail message to send. Please note that using this method of e-mail retrieval will not automatically delete your messages off the server. Also, some file attachments are not supported by this program and therefore can not be viewed. Messages must be manually deleted when using the Web E-Mail program. If this is not done periodically, it can lead to excessive accumulation of files in your mailbox. Your messages will then take longer to download and are more susceptible to corruption.
