Silver dollar, 1897

I have updated my site! I decided to omit the request for graphic work and just make this my detecting site. If you are interested in the graphic design or illustration that I do, you should visit my other site (it is fun even if you are not wanting work done). I have switched detector brands again. My new main squeeze is a Minelab Explorer XS. I now have three detectors. The Excalibur 1000 is my water machine. I couldn't part with my Fisher CZ 7a Pro although it just hangs there waiting for my Explorer to break down. I do let my buddy Chris use it when we go out. For the rare times my wife goes beach hunting with me, she has a nice little Shadow 2X. When I found this silver dollar the ground was very dry and the hit was loud and shallow. Thinking that it was probably junk, I cut a plug and pried it up. The ground was so hard that the plug went flying about a foot and landed upside down with the silver dollar on top. I almost fell over. I got it at an old abandoned farm house. Yes, I had permission to hunt.
