Shafer
Orchards is nestled in the rolling hills of
The
three
generations. Though dwarfed by larger
neighboring farms, consistent
attention
to quality brings families back, some-times from hundreds of
miles,
year after year to pick their own tree ripened peaches, nectarines,
apples
and grapes. The Shafers
will greet you with a friendly smile, and
show you
where and how to pick some of the best fruit produced anywhere
in the
world.
There
are nearby attractions for all ages. You
can visit several wineries
which
are a part of the growing Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail, here in
or
Blueberry
Picking is available at several area Blueberry farms. You can
visit Hickory
Creek Cow and Goat Dairy
Shafer
Orchards reserves the right to limit the number of persons
entering
the orchards at any time, and may limit the size and
scheduling
of groups visiting the orchards.
