Shafer Orchards

Shafer Orchards is nestled in the rolling hills of Southwestern Michigan.

The 76 acre farm has been owned and operated by the Shafer family for

three generations. Though dwarfed by larger neighboring farms, consistent

attention to quality brings families back, some-times from hundreds of

miles, year after year to pick their own tree ripened peaches, nectarines,

apples and grapes. The Shafers will greet you with a friendly smile, and

show you where and how to pick some of the best fruit produced anywhere

in the world.

Nearby attractions include several wineries which are a part of the growing

Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail, here in Southwestern Michigan. You can

easily combine your U-pick experience with a tour of the local wineries.

Hours 9 am – 6 pm Michigan Time daily during the U-Pick season.
